Chef's Table: Hospital Food
What is it
Hospital food has a bad rap. And it should. It often lacks in flavor and ironically, nutritional value. In many hospitals, hospital food is downright unhealthy. Northwell Health set out to change that by hiring Michelin-Star chef, Bruno Tison as the health system's head chef. Together, they are overhauling hospital food for the sake of better health and happier patients. To spread the word about Bruno, we pitched documentarian David Gelb and Netflix the next iteration of Chef's Table: Hospital Food. The show explores the problems of food in the health industry, and how it can be changed.
